Bagram Air Base Afghanistan

Doug has been deployed with the United States Air Force as a Critical Care Combat Medic. He is assigned to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Bagram Air Base. He treats Coalition forces, local nationals (to include kids), and the enemy.

Trauma is nothing new for Doug. At home he does the same work on the ICU at Landstuhl. The injuries are the same, primarily blast injuries from bombs, which cause, burns, amputations, and severe brain injuries and secondarily gunshot wounds. What is new is that Doug has never had to give critical care to children. He has had children with devastating injuries and some who have not been able to survive.

Please pray that God would give Doug the strength to see and deal with all that he is exposed to on a daily basis. We pray that God would give him the compassion necessary to give the same great care to the enemy laying next to one of those little children. Lastly, we ask that Jesus bring fellow believers into his life there to encourage and support him during this journey.

Thank you for praying.

Metopic Craniosynostosis

Our little boy Jaeden has been diagnosed with Metopic Craniosynostosis. This is when the skull of a child closes to quickly. In other words he doesn't have the normal soft spot. This causes the head to be "deformed" and at worse may cause brain damage. To fix this a surgery to remove our sons skull may be necessary. At this time it is not. PRAISE JESUS!

Our desire is that God would heal our little boy without medical intervention. We ask that he grows developmentally normal and this his head shape is the same.

Thank you for throwing these up to the King, we are truly grateful.

Wolden Praise Report

Our dear friends Jason and Cindy have begun a new journey in ministry. They have been selected to lead the youth of a church community in Shelton Washington. We believe that God does not make mistakes in His appointments and look forward to hearing and seeing what He does with them there.

President of the United States

We ask that you consistently pray for the President. He is in the most difficult position as the leader of the United States. Please do not forget that he is a father and he could use our support praying that he is able to continue to be "daddy" to his two little girls. Regardless of politic ideals we need to stand behind the leader of the most powerful country in the World through prayer. Ultimately God is in control.
